Tech Day is a hands-on, family-friendly event designed to spark curiosity and creativity in both kids (ages 5–12) and teens (ages 13–18). This event provides access to cutting-edge technology, interactive exhibits, and STEAM-based (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) experiences. By engaging with industry leaders, tech professionals, and community organizations, youth will explore the world of coding, robotics, gaming, design, and more all in a fun and supportive environment.
Our goal is to build pathways for young learners and future innovators, giving them tools, mentors, and opportunities to dream big and see themselves in tech careers.

Your Kids’ Favorite Event is Back!
WeCodeKC and KCDC are bringing back KidsTechDay, a hands-on experience to get kids excited about technology. This event will take place from 10am-2pm on Saturday, August 16th, 2025 at the KC Convention Center, offering a variety of technology-related activities and sessions designed to engage and inspire young minds aged 5-17. KidsTechDay aims to provide a glimpse into the world of tech and give children the opportunity to learn about technology concepts and skills through interactive sessions with experienced technologists from across the world.
